A few days ago we left Berlin and headed to Prague. Our tour guide gave us a talk about Germany’s history that lasted about an hour. I was impressed. Upon arriving in Prague, we quickly dumped our stuff at the hostel, before immediately heading to the bar (it was night time when we got there). Prague really did feel like and old city as we walked through it. Narrow and windy cobblestone streets through really old buildings felt like I stepped back in time a few hundred years. I was really impressed with the feel of the city. We made it to the coolest bar I’ve ever seen and had a great night.
In the morning, we shook off our tiredness from the night before with a bike tour. It was interesting, despite being in a city, it felt like trail riding or off reading because it was so bumpy from the cobblestone. We checked out some of the really old buildings and our guide explained their significance.
Then we had some free time to look around. I checked out a few buildings and tried some Czech traditional churro-donut thing before heading to the hostel for some much needed rest. In the evening we went to a restaraunt to eat a traditional Czech Neal and see some tradional dances and songs. It was pretty neat.
overall, Prague is a very nice city, but you need to watch out for sketchy characters and bars. One of our tour members got robbed in a bar but thankfully didn’t lose too much. As long as you are careful, you’ll be fine. Also, don’t take taxis, they will all try to scam you, uber is your friend. I’m laughing now that I have English pounds, Czech crowns, and EU euros in my wallet. Paying for things has devolved into grabbing a hand full of differing currencies and looking for relevant ones.
I’ll post about Vienna next, but for now I really want sleep.

As usual, looks like an awesome time! Just curious when we go back into some of your earlier posts the pictures aren’t showing up. Just wondering if they automatically delete or if you have taken them down?
It’s all still there for me. What post isn’t working for you?
