a few days ago we left Prague and headed for Viennnz, the final city in our tour. We stopped in some town in the Czech Republic to see what our tour guide called the bone church. Turns out it’s a church decorated entirely with human bones. I read it was supposed to be some message about us all being the same under God or something, I’m not entirely sure. Either way, it was a unique experience.
we then packed into our bus for Vienna. It’s a nice enough city, not quite as picturesque as some of the others I’ve been too. We did a quick bus tour of some of the important monuments and buildings before heading to our hostel. We quickly changed into some nicer clothes to watch a classical music performance. I take it the performers were good, but I don’t really have an ear for classical music. After that we headed to a theme park that had a club inside for our final night together. Most people had been partying pretty hard all week and it was starting to take its toll. A lot of us had a few drinks before heading out early.
The next morning we went for a walking tour to see a bunch of monuments and palaces and the like. That was pretty neat. Finally, we said our goodbyes to our tour guide and bus driver as our tour was officially over. A lot of people had booked an extra night in Vienna though, so a bunch of us hung out for the night. One person lived there so they guided us to some good restaraunts to relax.
the next day me and some Aussies caught a bus to Budapest but I’ll make a post about that later.
I want to give a big thank you to Grandma and Oompa for gifting me this tour. I had loads of fun and made a lot of friends. It was really nice not having to worry about travel logistics and just focus on having fun. I really appreciate it.

I’m glad you enjoyed the tour James….and that you now have friends to travel to Munich with.
Enjoy Budapest….if you get a chance find an outdoor restaurant near the parliament buildings to have dinner at night….the lights from the parliament buildings reflect off the seagulls flying around …..it’s like a Disney movie but it is real….
You are welcome James. I am happy that you have enjoyed a part of history that few persons have had the pleasure of experiencing. Continue having a good time and have one for me in Munich.
Love Ompa
